In order to open up the Telos Surfing region to all types of budgets, Telos 101 is proud to offer three different packages/options to get you to your dream surf holiday.
Fly me in, fly me out - Getting to Telos via Chartered Plane
Includes: 10 nights in resort.
Involves you and your friends getting to PADANG at a pre-determined time in consultation with 101 staff. Your Susi Air chartered plane will then take you the 50 minute flight from Padang to Telos airport where you will be conveyed by Telos 101 vessel “Sifika Express” to the resort. Click here to visit Susi Air.
Returning to Padang
On the day of your return, time dependent, we will try grab an early surf before heading to the Telos airport late morning where you will be flown on the chartered flight back to Padang International Airport for your departure to your home destination.
Please note, that whilst Telos 101 operators will do everything possible to stay within the proposed itinerary, weather conditions may see the itinerary changed to ensure your safety.
The SIFIKA GAYA Experience via Medan- Nias-Telos return
Includes: 10 nights in resort.
Involves getting yourself to the new Medan International airport (Kualanamu) initially and making the domestic transfer within the terminal to either the Garuda or Lion Air (Wings) check in counters for the flight to Gunung Sitoli Domestic airport (Nias). (We prefer the Garuda flight as they are more efficient/reliable and tolerant of surf board bags than other domestic carriers and with only about a $15 fare difference).
There are two flights daily Medan to Nias return with Garuda and seven flights with Lion Air.
Upon your arrival at Nias/Gunung Sitoli Binaka Domestic airport you will be met by our tour representative and conveyed in air conditioned comfort to the speedboat and whisked across to the beautiful Telos islands and the resort where your stay in paradise begins.
Returning to Nias for your homeward bound journey will be done at the call of the skipper in order to co ordinate with your Nias – Medan flights.
* Please note that in the case you choose a flight departing Nias earlier than approximately 2 pm on the day of check out it may be necessary to spend your tenth night with Telos 101 in a modern comfortable hotel in Gunung Sitoli in order to ensure you make your flights. The cost of a twin share room at this hotel is approximately $40 AUD and it is situated about 30 mins from the airport.
Conversely you can book this hotel via Telos 101 Surf Resort and fly out first thing the morning after your 11th night (which would be spent in Gunung Sitoli ) to maximise time in the resort.
Visit Getting There for more Information or email email@example.com.
The “ELLA” 101 Experience - Getting to Telos101 Surf Resort/return to Padang via the Telos101 Surf Charter Sifika 101
Includes: 2 nights transiting Padang/telos return 8 nights in resort.
Involves you getting yourself to Padang International Airport (Minangkabau International) on the first day of your chosen trip via any of the international airport hubs within about 1 hr namely Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta or Singapore.
Air Asia, Garuda and Singapore airlines are the main international airlines servicing these routes from Australia.
Upon arrival at Padang airport you will be met by Telos 101 staff who will transfer you and your luggage to either the Telos 101 HQ in the heart of Padang or directly to our new surf charter boat “Ella” itself.
At the call of the skipper, we will all jump on board the boat and make the voyage out to Telos. On board the boat you will have your choice of 4 twin share bunk rooms all air conditioned. Chilling on the large bench seat at the stern whilst trolling lures, hanging out in the upstairs beer garden, watching a DVD or catching some well needed sleep on the shade clothed bow will help you unwind and slip into the pace of life in the islands.
Upon arrival we will unload, quickly settle in and head straight out to the surf.
At the conclusion of your trip, we will all jump back on board “Ella” and head back to Padang in time for connecting flights.
Please note that whilst things run fairly smoothly operating between Padang and the islands (Mentawais and Telos) there is the very odd occasion whereby crossing between same can be problematic. As such, adding an extra night in Padang on the return leg can alleviate any stress one may encounter. Whilst Telos 101 operators will do all possible to stay within the proposed itinerary, weather conditions on the Ella transfer may see the itinerary changed to ensure your safety.
